You will use these words when you rent a room, shop for a home, ask a landlord about what is included, or simply describe your place to a friend. Some appliance names are loanwords, such as 에어컨 and 텔레비전, so they are easy to remember. Many Korean homes also have an ondol heated floor, so people often sit and sleep on the floor with a thick blanket on a mattress pad. That is why you may hear both words for blanket and bed in the same conversation.
