Days, months, morning, night — words for time.

1 / 20 Time words are used in every conversation, from planning meetings to ordering food. This set covers twenty words for parts of the day, days of the week, simple dates and periods: morning, noon, evening, night, today, yesterday, tomorrow, weekdays, weekend, week, month, year and more. In Korean, words like 어제, 오늘 and 내일 never take the time particle 에, and days of the week end with 요일. Koreans also use two number systems, which you will see with hours and dates. Gaon, our grammar teacher, explains the patterns. Pictures use clocks, calendars and the sun and moon, with no people, so each word stays easy to see.
