1 / 20 Shapes and positions are the building blocks of directions and descriptions. In this set you will learn basic shapes such as circle, square, triangle, star and heart, and position words such as up, down, front, back, beside, inside, outside, left, right, center and between. Korean position words are usually followed by a particle and a verb: 책상 위에 있어요 (It is on the desk), 가방 안에 있어요 (It is in the bag). You will use these words for finding things, giving directions and describing pictures. Gaon, our grammar teacher, lines them up for you. All pictures use simple objects and shapes, with no people, so you can see the relationship clearly.
Describe the room you are in right now with three sentences: ___ 위에 있어요, ___ 옆에 있어요, ___ 안에 있어요.
