Bank & Money 은행·돈
Money, cards and banking words.

Ad
1 / 17 This set gives you the words you need to handle money in Korea: opening an account at the bank, paying by card, changing foreign currency and sending money. Cards are used very widely in Korea and are accepted almost everywhere, but you will still need cash for some markets and small shops. Most banking words are Sino-Korean, for example 계좌 (account) and 송금 (money transfer). Foreigners usually need a passport and an alien registration card to open a bank account. Learn these words before your first visit to the bank, and the numbers and procedures will feel much less stressful.
Practise one real sentence aloud, such as '환전하고 싶어요', before you walk into a bank or exchange counter.
